Today is probably just as good a day as any to come out of the closet and bring all the hangers with me! Ive explored my bi-sexuality a time or 10, and I recently lost a dear girlfriend to cancer. Her death really hit me like a ton of bricks, Ive never lost a lover to death before. Im at that age where it's not just grandparents, aunts & uncles who pass away. The circle is getting closer to home and people in my peer group are starting to pass away, losing their lives to cancer, illness and disease. It's the way of Nature and an accepted process of the life & death cycle.
I can only imagine the pain, loss and confusion experienced by the people involved in last nights shooting in the Orlando LGBTQ night club where a deranged and confused individual went into the club and gunned down and killed 49 people!!! This is Pride Month in the LGBTQ community and those who celebrate and struggle with sexual identity and orientation are OUT partying in the Big O.
I am disgusted by Fundamental 'Religion' judging others because we dont worship their creation story and limiting belief system. Good ol Bible Belt here in the Dirty South, rampant with ignorance and judgement, and lest we forget the straight out HYPOCRISY. It sickens me to know that there is such hatred in the world. Now it's in my backyard, Orlando- :( LGBTQ people exist, deal with it. It is a FEDERAL LAW that gays can marry. Love is love <3 It doesnt matter who you love or how you love, just start with yourself and have acceptance for others! God is inside everyone of us. RIP to all who lost their lives last night and my heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one... <3
